With the new bizhub C353P Konica Minolta meets the demands of busy offices and departments for colour as well as black and white printing: instant availability, high efficiency and reliability are paired with easy usability. The bizhub C353P does not only come in a stylish and compact design but also provides excellent media handling and modular finishing capabilities. Further equipped with important security features the new Konica Minolta printer is an attractive device for any modern office.

 

The new Konica Minolta bizhub C353P handles all printing requirements of busy offices with ease and competence. With its print speed of 35 pages per minute for colour as well as black and white printouts, the device is equally fitted for the processing of extensive b/w print volumes and productive colour printing. Professional finishing options allow producing a wide variety of documents, leaflets, brochures and other materials inhouse – jobs that had to be outsourced before. For example, the staple finisher can be upgraded with a booklet option to create complete centre-stapled and folded booklets. Also available is a mailbin sorter for a total of seven addressable output bins.

The media handling capabilities of the bizhub C353P also support the production of a wide range of materials in different formats, e.g. banners, envelopes and labels. Its standard paper capacity of 1,150 sheets can be flexibly upgraded with different paper cabinets to a maximum of 3,650 sheets. All trays process paper of up to 256 gsm, the bypass tray even handles paper of up to 271 gsm and duplex printing of maximal 256 gsm paper is possible. The bizhub C353P uses Simitri HD polymerised toner to guarantee razor-sharp black and white text as well as an excellent image quality with smooth colour gradations and high fade resistance.

 

The bizhub C353P is equipped with a range of features for easy usability and administration. For example, the practical Print Status Notifier keeps users informed of the device status and progress of their print job with automatic pop-up messages on the PC screen. Thus, users do not need to keep checking the printer. The standard PageScope Suite enables easy account and data management and device monitoring for administrators. With the PageScope Data Administrator, for example, administrators can integrate new equipment into existing workflows and programme user access details easily. This includes determining limited access rights for colour printing. PageScope Netcare enables administrators to simply monitor individual or all devices on the network.

 

Additionally, the bizhub C353P offers Konica Minolta’s comprehensive security functionality. For secure printing users may rely on password authentication with an optional HDD; alternatively, the printer can be equipped with a biometric authentication. With this solution, users no longer need to remember passwords to print but simply touch a little scanner with their fingertip which recognizes their vein patterns. Furthermore, encryption of all data stored on the hard disk is ensured with the optionally available security chip.
